Chris Kacerguis has been passionate about technology from an early age. His journey with radio began at just 11 years old when his father gifted him a handheld CB radio. While his interest in radios lay dormant for years, his love for technology never wavered, eventually reigniting his passion for amateur radio.

Chris joined the Austin Area Radio Club in 2023 and quickly became an active participant in the local amateur radio community. He is a dedicated member of Travis County ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and currently serves as the Assistant Emergency Coordinator for Net Control. Chris is a regular voice on the weekly ARES net and can often be heard on the 146.940 repeater, where he enjoys contributing to the vibrant amateur radio network.
