SkyWarn Training 2024
The Austin / South Central Texas SkyWarn Training Session, which has been virtual the last couple of years will be held IN PERSON again this year, at St Edwards University in south Austin, 3001 South Congress, Jones Auditorium, RAGS 101. There isn’t a virtual-attendance option.
The training session will occur on Saturday March 2, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon Central time.
Note that you will need to both register for the training session itself as well as register your car for parking.
As usual, the training will incorporate Basic and Advanced SkyWarn training and will be taught by the National Weather Service for Austin-San Antonio.
Training completion certificates, for three hours of severe weather recognition and safety training, will be available after the session for attendees present for the entire session.
