Welcome to the Austin Amateur Radio Club

Welcome to the website of the Austin Amateur Radio Club, an active affiliate club of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) now in our 87th year! Our club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Waterloo Icehouse 8600 N. Burnet Road, South of 183. Members are active in a number of specialized areas including Field Day, Contesting, Digital Modes, EMCOMM and ATV. Members can usually be found monitoring the 146.940 repeater (no tone). Come Join Us!

AARC to raffle off ICOM IC-7000 Mobile HF Rig
 

The AARC is having a fundraising event. We are raffling off a brand new ICOM 7000 Mobile HF Radio! This is the latest offering from ICOM. We will be selling just 250 tickets so your chances are good. The drawing will be held at the AARC Radio Roundup Swapfest in Austin Texas on December 6th,2008
