It takes a lot of hard work and a great team to make
something like talking to the International Space Station
at a specific time, date and place to happen. When you
have that team they can make it seem almost easy. The
picture above are the local hams and scout leaders that
came together to make the contact happen.
AARC and Scout Pack 304 gathered at the Blackland Prairie
Elementary School on the morning of July 4th and we
were able to talk to Mission Specialist Dr. Greg Chamitoff
on the ISS. We had a near perfect contact and for nearly
10 minutes the scouts were able to ask Dr. Chamitoff
questions they had come up with. It was a great event
and a the scouts had a great time.
